As a spatial designer my curiosity draws me to the underlying cultural attitudes of spatial environments. My interests lay within Māori cultural heritage, understanding traditional concepts of time and space through celestial navigation, and our Māori language as a way of being.

Fortunate enough to engage with the voyaging community, my photography approaches this way of being from an observational perspective into a world rarely seen.

Our waka become our most powerful immersive learning tools in which spatial awareness is integral to everyday life. Where the sea and stars become your most trusted teachers.
